We’re partnering with a well-established Australian manufacturing and distribution business looking to strengthen their internal ERP capability.
This is a hands-on technical Sage X3 role where you’ll go beyond BAU support and play a key part in developing, enhancing, and integrating their ERP environment.
You’ll work closely with the Group IT Manager and broader business stakeholders to deliver ERP improvements, system integrations, and digital transformation initiatives that directly impact operational performance.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting and enhancing a live Sage X3 ERP environment
- Developing custom functionality using Sage X3 4GL
- Building and modifying screens, windows, and objects
- Designing integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and GraphQL
- Working with SQL Server for data development, optimisation, and troubleshooting
- Delivering ERP enhancements across manufacturing, finance, and operations
- Supporting third-party system integrations and automation initiatives
- Contributing to digital transformation and continuous improvement projects
What we’re looking for
- Hands-on Sage X3 development experience (4GL)
- Experience building Sage X3 screens, windows, and objects
- Strong SQL Server capability
- Experience with APIs (REST / Web Services / GraphQL)
- Functional understanding of Manufacturing, Distribution, Inventory, Finance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work directly with business stakeholders
