IT Support Engineer
- Location: Sydney (4 days in office, 1 day from home)
- Salary: $80,000 + Super + Bonuses
- Australian Citizenship or PR required
About the Role:
Kaliba are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service Desk Engineer to join an established client. This role is ideal for a motivated IT professional with at least 2 years of experience in service desk or IT support, with a strong foundation in Level 2 support and Microsoft technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via email, phone, and other communication channels.
- Act as an escalation point for Level 1 engineers, assisting in resolving complex technical issues.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows-based systems and Microsoft technologies, including InTune, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Maintain IT infrastructure and ensure smooth system operations.
- Document resolutions, contribute to knowledge base, and follow IT service management processes.
Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years experience in service desk or IT support roles.
- Experience working with a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Hands-on experience providing Level 2 support.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Systems and Microsoft technologies (InTune, Teams, SharePoint).
- Working knowledge of Azure and Active Directory.
- Microsoft certifications such as AZ-900 (Microsoft Azure Fundamentals) or MS-900 (Microsoft 365 Fundamentals) are a plus.
- Experience in ITIL-based environments is desirable.
