James Kennedy 

James has been able to make a real impact across his 7 years in the recruitment game through his dedicated, friendly and attentive approach. He believes that honesty, transparency and trust with his clients and candidates will result in a mutually profitable long term relationship where everyone benefits. Dedication to his work and the ability to achieve results quickly as well as having the market knowledge has allowed him to move up the recruitment ladder faster than most and in 2016, together with Greg Brown, he co-founded Kaliba.

This dedication has seen him work with some of the leading and fastest-growing technology vendors in the world helping them expand and grow their teams across APAC. There has been a lot of success within the Cyber Security space, but there is a track record right across the IT vendor landscape. James has a proven record of placing Country Managers, Regional Directors, Senior Sales Engineering Leaders and Professional Services Directors within APAC and this has seen repeat business all while developing long-lasting relationships.

Outside of work, he is married and has two children, Archie and Poppy. He loves spending time with his family and friends, ideally over a cold beer. He enjoys all things sport and in particular, the Collingwood Football Club, but please don’t hold that against him!
